The Retreat
Serenaya Bay was built into the cliffside by a single family and has been run by three generations since. Lime-washed walls, cane shutters, floors of cool local stone — nothing here shouts.
Mornings begin with coffee on your terrace and the sound of the boats coming back in. Afternoons are yours: the reef, the hammam, the shaded reading room, or nothing at all. By eight the lanterns are lit along the sea wall and dinner starts to find its rhythm.
Our guests average nine nights. Most of them come back.
